Farm game plans (sampling), 1954.

Series 3 of record group 75-61 consists of farm game plans (sampling) from the Michigan Department of Conservation for the year 1954. Selected documents from farm game plans which the Department entered into agreement with land owners to provide seedlings for wild game cover. The Department would draw up a planting guide and the land owner was supposed to follow the plan. Descriptions contain information on the type of farm operation or owners' employment of the land and general land use; game population estimates if available; and indications of proposed plans for future land use.
